Math Department Student Research Opportunities

The following is a list of research topics that Department of Mathematics faculty find interesting and would consider investigating with a student. However, if you have a topic you'd like to research with a faculty member, but the topic is not on the list below, do not dismiss your topic. You should discuss your topic with a faculty member or the department chair. Remember that students who have NSF scholarships must do an internship or a research project with a faculty member.
